Turmeric Milk

Turmeric has a strong immune-modulatory effect. Giving a cup of turmeric milk regularly will ensure that your child does not become ill frequently.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder (Dalchini)
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg powder (jaayaphal) (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla syrup
  • ¼ cup Fresh coconut , grated (optional)
  • To taste Black pepper powder (optional)

Instructions
 

  • To begin making, take a saucepan, lightly warm the milk and add fresh turmeric powder. Give it a good stir and taste if you want to increase the amount of turmeric.
  • Now add cinnamon & nutmeg powder into the milk and stir it again. Turn off the flame and add honey + Vanilla Extract into the milk.
  • Mix everything well and let it sit for a couple of seconds. Now pour the warm milk into a mug and top it with grated coconut and a pinch of black pepper powder.

Notes

Tip: You can also add roasted badam powder (Roasted almond powder) for a nutty flavor.
