Fish Cutlet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fish
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds (Saunf) optional
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 or 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
  • 2 tbsp Curry-leaves and coriander leaves
  • 1 – 2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • As required Bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • To taste Salt

Instructions
 

  • Steam the fish for 5mins. Peel skin and remove the center thorn of the fish. Boil the potatoes. Remove the skin and mash.
  • In a kadai, heat oil, add fennel seeds. When they split and onion, ginger, garlic. Fry until they turn brown.
  • Add chopped green chillies, curry, coriander leaves, stir well.
  • Then add mashed fish and mashed potatoes, add salt to taste. Mix well. Finally, add garam masala powder and remove from fire.
  • When it cools, make them into round balls or whatever shape you desire. Beat the eggs with a little salt and pepper.
  • In that mixture dip the balls one by one and then coat them with breadcrumbs.
  • When everything is done, fry it in oil.
  • You can also pour a little oil in the tawa and brown both sides.
