Blueberry Muffin

Blueberries contain vitamin C that stimulates the production of collagen, an important protein forming the hair structure and stimulate the hair follicles, thereby boosting hair growth. They also contain antioxidants that fight free radicals.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • cup Brown sugar
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • cup Pecans, chopped (can also use walnuts)
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • ¼ cup Milk (can also use almond milk)
  • 1 Egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pecans (or walnuts), and salt. In a separate bowl, lightly beat egg, blueberries and milk. Combine dry and wet ingredients.
  • Pour batter into paper muffin cups. Bake for 30-40 minutes, then transfer muffins to a cooling rack. Serve warm.
